The first Frozy Camp was held in the Archipelagos of Turku, on the frozen sea, near Rymättylä.
The techniques consisted of Kinagare randori ichi no kata, Genki Nanbu niban, Jo waza and of course as we are on the ice, ukemitaiso.
Special attention was given to Kaiten randori san no kata due to its rotating techniques. Also one not that often practised sequence, Randori sukui no kata was studied.
One of the special features of this seminar was the team spirit which revealed not only in the intensive training but in the time spent together in the cottage. The accommodation was organised by one of the members at hers wooden cottage. Some of the trainings were held indoors in the cottage as the clothes were completely wet from time to time.
